Resumo
This study aims to attest to the British pop movement and the work of the English artist Peter
Blake as influencing agents of my aesthetic experience. The proposal is to produce artworks
exploring techniques and inspiration similar to Blake's, such as painting and collage, in order
to compare results. I chose the language of posters, media directed to the masses and very
present in the 1960s and 1970s. There are two moments of thematic research. A series with
graphic interventions on Claudia magazine covers, focusing on the archetypal images of the
woman warrior myth, and another series with an approach to the world of dogs, called PopDogs.
I analyze the perception of the cultural environment and look for a possible theorization of my
creative process, highlighting drawing as the basis of my work and the use of personal
collections, which refers to the practice of appropriation. Here, the research and performing are of interest simultaneously. Results of this recent experience are marked by exhibitions in public institutions between 2018, 2019 and 2020
