| dc.description.abstract | Este trabalho tem como objetivo estudar a seleção adaptativa na tradução da legenda do filme, do diretor chinês Hark Tsui: Jovem Detetive Dee-Ascensão do Dragão do Mar (2013), de chinês para português, sob a perspectiva da Eco-tradutologia. Após uma breve apresentação da evolução da indústria cinematográfica nas últimas décadas, do valor dos filmes chineses e da necessidade da comunicação internacional, a análise concentra-se em três dimensões da eco-tradutologia, isto é, linguística, cultural e comunicativa, com a finalidade de o público-alvo compreender a conotação do filme, superando de tal forma as barreiras na língua e na cultura. Desenvolvida por Hu Gengshen em 2001, a eco-tradutologia tem sido considerada uma abordagem aos estudos de tradução de uma perspectiva ecológica, que enfatiza a relação entre o tradutor e o ambiente ecológico da tradução, a centralidade do tradutor, bem como a adaptação e seleção que o tradutor fez durante o processo de tradução. Os tradutores não apenas precisam se adaptar ao eco-ambiente da tradução (adaptação seletiva), mas também fazer seleções e transformações durante o processo de tradução (seleção adaptativa). Espera-se que, com base na teoria da eco-tradutologia, esta pesquisa possa lançar luz sobre estudos futuros de tradução da legenda para a China e para o Brasil. | pt_BR |

| local.description.abstracten | This work intends to analyze the adaptive strategies in the translation of the subtitles for a film by the Chinese director Hark Tsui: Young Detective Dee-Ascension of the Dragon of the Sea (2013), from Chinese to Portuguese, guided by Hu Gensheng’s eco-translatology theory. After a brief presentation of the evolution of the film industry in recent decades, the value of Chinese films and the need for international communication, the analysis focuses on three dimensions of eco-translatology, that is, linguistic, cultural and communicative, with which it makes the target audience understands the connotation of the film well, overcoming barriers in language and culture. Developed by Hu Gengshen in 2001, eco-translatology has been considered an approach to translation studies from an ecological perspective, which emphasizes the relationship between the translator and the eco-environment of the translation, in the other words, the adaptation and selection that the translator made during the translation process, as well as the centrality of the translator. Translators not only need to adapt to the translational eco-environment (selective adaptation), but also make selections and transformations during the translation process (adaptive selection). It is hoped that on the basis of the eco-translatology theory, this research could shed some light on future studies of subtitle translation in China and in Brazil. | pt_BR |
