dc.description.abstractIntroduction: Health training has shown the need for changes in traditional models of education and health care, marked by Paradigm Biologicist and uniprofissional. representing the changes in health graduate highlight the Multidisciplinary Residency in Health, which brings together various health care professions, except medicine. In this context, Multidisciplinary Residences in health represents an innovative proposal, due to its method centered in multidisciplinary education. Objectives: To describe and analyze the contributions of the Multidisciplinary Residency in Health University Hospital João de Barros Barreto / UFPA for training and operations in more traditional areas of health in Brazil , with the exception of medicine: Pharmacy, Dentistry and Nursing , under the optics its participants. Method: Descriptive, analytical qualitative study was conducted. The study was submitted to and approved by the Platform Brazil. For data collection were used semi-structured interviews, which were conducted between the months of September to December 2015. The script of the interview was prepared according to the research objectives. Data analysis involved interviews, and at a later stage was made articulation between the theoretical frameworks of the study. Results: In the research it was evident that the greatest difficulties in the RMS / HUJBB are: the need for increased training of HUJBB of health professionals to practice preceptor ship; emphasize the multidisciplinary approach in theoretical content, greater involvement of the tutors in the training of tutors of the course; wider dissemination of the pedagogical project for all involved in the RMS / HUJBB; greater coordination with state and municipal management of health. Participants guardians of the research consider how relevant the proposed multi-professional training of RMS / HUJBB but highlight as obstacles: they came from uniprofissional training and even the predominance of activities practices in hospital. Despite the reported obstacles survey participants graduates of RMS / HUJBB considered the livings in the RMS / HUJBB enriching for their training as professionals in health, as well as pointed out that the course of Multidisciplinary Residency contributed positively to their roles as professionals cheers. Conclusion: Considering the ambitious and innovative character of the Multidisciplinary Residency courses in Health, RMS / HUJBB has importance in the health professional training in the Amazon region, and provides opportunities that promote multidisciplinary training in health. But it is of great significance that the RMS / HUJBB be constantly evaluated and improved , so that the necessary changes to its development happen and the training of health professionals according to the paradigm of integral and multidisciplinary become reality.eng
