Abstract
O presente trabalho analisa a nova função dos jornalistas como mediadores da
informação, e não mais os únicos responsáveis pela notícia, para a produção de um
portal de notícias colaborativo. A partir da análise de diferentes teorias sobre a
cartografia da informação e o papel do jornalista na era digital, verificou-se a hipótese
de que as contribuições de cidadãos para as notícias podem enriquecer
conhecimentos locais e trazer novas perspectivas sobre os critérios de noticiabilidade.
Para tanto, foi produzido e divulgado um website de notícias dentro da Grande São
Paulo, onde o papel do jornalista se resumiria apenas a mediação das publicações,
de forma não intrusiva. O formato foi escolhido com a intenção de que ultrapasse a
bolha acadêmica, utilizando o digital como ferramenta de publicação, mas também de
disseminação das notícias. Com esse projeto, espera-se não só trazer um novo olhar
sobre o papel do jornalismo para o futuro, mas também analisar se os critérios de
noticiabilidade utilizados atualmente pelos veículos tradicionais correspondem aos
critérios de importância utilizado pelos colaboradores para escolher as notícias que
produziram.
This paper analyses the new role for journalists as information mediators, and no longer solely responsible for the news, for the production of a collaborative news portal. Based on the analysis of different theories about information cartography and the journalist's role in the digital age, it was hypothesized that the contributions of citizens to the news can enrich local knowledge and bring new perspectives on newsworthiness criteria. Therefore, a news website about Greater São Paulo was produced and shared, in which the role of the journalist would be restricted to the mediation of publications, in a non-intrusive way. This format was chosen with the intention of overcoming the ‘academic bubble’, using digital as a tool for publication and dissemination of the news. With this project, it is hoped not only to bring a new perspective on the role of journalism to the future, but also to analyze whether the criteria of newsworthiness currently used by traditional vehicles correspond to the criteria of importance used by the collaborators to choose the news they produced.
