Abstract
Currently, despite major advances in accessibility and inclusion in Brazilian society, the deaf community is still not included in the programming of most major broadcasters in Brazil. By not complying with the laws or just carrying out the minimum obligations, the television press is not accessible for the most part. This final paper aims to under stand the challenges of deaf community members in getting informed in their first lan guage – Libras. For this, we will show stations that work and with accessible program ming and we will try to understand what are the reasons why they all still do not have the pounds window in their programming. We try to understand where the deaf usually get information. The different points of view of the issue created the documentary “A Voz nas Mãos”
