Waterproofing is a protection for buildings against the damaging action of fluids, steam and humidity. Thus, it is necessary to compare different waterproofing materials used in facades through the analysis of images obtained with a thermographic camera, to effectively avoid the appearance of pathological manifestations. For this study, a wall was divided into six sections, so that the five types of waterproofing methods are applied, leaving one section without the application of waterproofing. Through a directed rain, the wall was conditioned to wet cycles using a structure for the rain simulation. With the use of a thermographic camera, it was possible to analyze and compare the efficiency of each type of waterproofing. After all the wetting cycles and analysis of the presence of humidity through the camera, it was concluded that the waterproofing materials responded in different ways, and there may have been factors that negatively influenced the assertiveness. Among the waterproofing agents studied, acrylic membrane, crystallizing cement and asphalt emulsion were the waterproofing methods that obtained the best results and polymeric mortar and monolayer were the methods that obtained the worst results.
