Resumo
A monografia tem a intenção de trazer as diferenças entre a atual produção da crítica
musical no Brasil e nos Estados Unidos. Tendo como exemplo e objeto de análise os
portais online das versões brasileira e estadunidense da revista Rolling Stone. O
avanço da tecnologia e a internet trouxeram mudanças significativas para esse tipo
de gênero jornalístico. Antes mesmo do início do trabalho, foi possível perceber que
ele se encontra quase totalmente imerso na internet. O fato despertou a curiosidade
do porque isso ocorre e se a qualidade dos textos também sofreu mudanças. Para
entender como a crítica musical está hoje, também foi feita uma pesquisa bibliográfica
para entender o passado e os rumos que ela e a música tomaram ao longo dos anos.
Então, foram analisadas publicações do universo musical dos portais citados no
período do mês de maio de 2018. Sendo a Rolling Stone um dos veículos mais
importantes para a crítica desde os anos 30. Por fim, as considerações finais
denunciam quais são as diferenças entre os países, o que levou os textos a serem
assim e ainda, qual seria a forma mais adequada de se escrevê-las.
The article intend to bring the difference between the current production of musical criticism in Brazil and United States. Taking as an example and object of analysis the website of the brazilian and US versions of Rolling Stone magazine. Today’s advanced of tecnology and the internet have brought signficant changes to musical criticism scenario. Even before the beginning of the search, it was clear that the apearance of this kind of text is almost immersed on the internet now a days. The fact aroused curiosity for knowing the causes and if any quallity aspect of the texts changed during time. To understand how musical criticisms is today, it was also built a bibliographic research to understand how it was before. Besides the drections they took through last years, coinciding with the music. Therefore, publications about music cited in may 2018 was analized. As long as Rolling Stone was one of the most important veicles for the musical criticism since 1930. In conclusion, final considerations delate witch was the diferences between the two countrys, the meaning of this and what would be the most aproppriate way to write them.
