Fashion has changed its beauty standards and production techniques in the last decade, and one of its pillars of change is social inclusion. Through a series of journalistic reports, this Final Course Assignment shows projects that have already been born with this humanitarian vision of the textile industry. Separated by themes, the four videos bring content about the community production of seamstresses, job opportunity for ex detainees, fashion adapted for people with disabilities and plus size’s market, respectively. The initial objective is to propose the inclusive theme to fashion journalism, as an experience in the audiovisual format, to remove from the public the exclusionary reputation of the fashion industry. The piece was based on research and analysis of how the subject is handled in the media, especially in major fashion journalism brands. There was also contact with entrepreneurs who created projects based on their own needs and IBGE data search. After that, journalistic ethics, techniques of humanitarian interviews and audiovisual production were also studied. The Final Course Assignment shows the importance of including people in the fashion market, and as a journalistic piece, passes the vision of those who have difficulties to be included to the general public.
