dc.description.abstractThe aim of the thesis is to analyze the contradictions present in the Brazilian political discourse and its relation to political activity formulation of laws, understood as the institutional and bureaucratic order that determines human behavior in society. In particular, the work tries to show the occurrences of a variety of contradictions in the statements of candidates for presidential elections in 2014, the relationship between these contradictions and the gender characteristics of political discourse conducted within the social field of contemporary Brazilian democracy and the possibility of recognizing in such enunciative events, contradictions patterns that also unfold in the ideological and structural dimensions not as an exception or a side effect, but as a condition for the political realization. Therefore, a literature review of the history of political philosophy and the history of the formation of the Brazilian political thought is held and for the analysis of the corpus, are considered the theoretical proposals made by the French Discourse Analysis and by authors such as Jean-Jacques Courtine, Pierre Bourdieu and Patrick Charaudeau. In the document, the main ideas advocated by political thinkers are also associated with the historiographical process of register facts concerning the exercise of power and, from this association, it becomes possible to observe how the political discourse becomes constitutive of the exercise of state power by established authority by giving the right to organize and legislate from the guidance of an ethos that publicly seeks to meet expectations and rules of the TV debate show, but that within the political field, demands to matches internal rules to ensure their participation and increasing their symbolic power. The corpus of analysis allows the identification of four models of structural, ideological, discursive and enunciative contradictions that provide feedback to each other and are some of the main cultural instruments for maintaining an order that ensures the existence of the political field in Brazil, which is the direct consequence of the Brazilian political thought formation. Thus, once exposed the essentially contradictory character of the Brazilian political discourse as well as the difficulties it imposes on the ideal of justice and political participation, the reflection focuses on what are the alternatives to this model as well as its viability, which is made from reflection based on the works of authors such as Robert Dahl, Robert Nozick and Slavoj Zizek.eng
