equipe do Fashion Revolution, Eduardo Biz, André Robic e Camila Puccini, serviram
We are always changing as individuals, measuring our priorities as human beings and society. It’s in this reflective scenario that we find conscious consumption, a micro trend that tries to rebuild the way we act and think as consumers. The idea is to consume less, look for alternatives and avoid the self-destruction consumerism offers us. The Lowsumerism (low consumerism) puts together different parts of society, including fashion, the second most polluting to the environment, besides being one of the bases of contemporary slavery – where people work in precarious conditions to produce more for the market. With this being said, this project had the objective of creating (Re)pense Moda ((Re)think fashion), a news website about conscious consumption, and also present some important information about the ideals, causes and the movement’s lifestyle for a responsible fashion. Projects from authors and researchers such as André Carvalhal, the Fashion Revolution team, Eduardo Biz, André Robic and Camila Puccini were used as a base to develop my work, to understand the theme and to create the portal’s content. Besides these authors, experts in communication and hypermidiatic language and their papers were analyzed to understand what is the best way to work with fashion, journalism and the online area. Marshall McLuhan and Lucia Leão were some of the authors studied.
