This paper describes the experience in three different semesters of using game development as a motivational factor for the Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) learning. Different contexts in the games development were reported in each semester: Mathematics Learning for children in the literacy phase; construction of accessible learning material (including games); and games to work the memory of elderly public. This paper presents the experience report of each material and theirs results in the classroom. In all, 326 students from Computer Science courses participated in a private university located in São Paulo, Brazil. The general results show that the challenge in games developing in the HCI courses is motivating for students, which more than 80% of them felt motivated and engaged in the learning process.
