dc.description.abstractO presente trabalho tem como objetivo analisar fática e juridicamente os mitos que cercam o projeto de redução da maioridade penal. Nos últimos anos observa-se uma crescente onda de brasileiros que clamam por justiça e encontram na redução da maioridade penal a possibilidade de diminuir a criminalidade que atualmente assola o país, nesse contexto surgem projetos de emenda à constituição que visam reduzir a idade penal de 18 anos para 16 anos (alguns falam até mesmo de 14 anos) sendo a mais atual a PEC n° 32/2019, proposta pelo Senador Flávio Bolsonaro, diante disso, compõe-se esta monografia dividida em: a construção histórica da proteção dos direitos infanto-juvenis e seus reflexos na maioridade penal, a maioridade penal em outros países, a inconstitucionalidade da proposta de redução da maioridade penal no Brasil, os mitos da redução e consequências práticas da redução da maioridade penal.pt_BR
dc.description.abstractThis work aims at analyzing factually and juridically the myths surrounding the project to reduce the age of criminal responsibility. On the last years we have been seeing a growing wave of Brazilians that claims for justice and find in reducing the age of criminal responsibility the possibility of decreasing crime rates that currently ravages our country, on that context , there are draft amendments to the constitution that aim to reduce the penal age from 18 years to 16 years (some even speak of 14 years) being the most recent the PEC n° 32/2019 proposed by the Senator Flávio Bolsonaro, that said, this monograph is divided into: The historical construction of the protection of children's and juvenile rights and its effects on the age of criminal responsibility, The age of criminal responsibility in other countries, The unconstitutionality of the proposal, The myths of the reduction and Practical consequences.pt_BR
