dc.description.abstractA jornada feminina no romance Niketche: uma história de poligamia (2004), de Paulina Chiziane (1955-), pode ser compreendida como metonímia da trajetória da mulher em Moçambique, uma vez que os dramas da protagonista representam as vivências de grande parte das mulheres desse país, captadas sob diferentes temporalidades e imaginários africanos. Busca-se nesta pesquisa, por meio da alegoria do rio Zambeze, analisar as etapas que dividem metaforicamente esse rio em analogia com Rami, personagem principal de Niketche, transformando as partes que compõem esse percurso em identidade narrativa. Para atingir esse objetivo, aplica-se a estrutura mimética concebida pelo filósofo Paul Ricoeur (1996; 2007; 2010; 2010a; 2010b; 2013; 2015; 2019), dividindo a narrativa em mímesis I, nascente; mímesis II, percurso; e mímesis III, delta. As interpretações analíticas regulam-se por ecos de memória como instância reminiscente e como matéria de autoconhecimento, valendo-se dos acontecimentos históricos do país e dos mitos cosmogônicos africanos. Para alicerçar a análise da narrativa, os estudos das concepções estruturais miméticas e do conceito de tempo narrativo de Paul Ricoeur são a base desta pesquisa, traçando um percurso que desvela a hermenêutica do texto ficcional.pt_BR

local.description.abstractenThe female journey in the novel Niketche: uma história de poligamia (2004), by Paulina Chiziane (1955-), can be understood as a metonymy of the trajectory of women in Mozambique, since the dramas of the protagonist represent the experiences of most women in this country, captured under different temporalities and African imaginaries. This research seeks, through the allegory of the Zambezi River, to analyze the steps that metaphorically divide this river in analogy with Rami, main character of Niketche, transforming the parts that make up this path in narrative identity. To achieve this goal, the mimetic structure conceived by philosopher Paul Ricoeur (1996; 2007; 2010; 2010a; 2010b; 2013; 2015; 2019) is applied, dividing the narrative into mimesis I, source; mimesis II, journey; and mimesis III, delta. The analytical interpretations are regulated by echoes of memory as a reminiscent instance and as a matter of self-knowledge, drawing on the historical events of the country and African cosmogony myths. To ground the analysis of the narrative, the studies of the structural mimetic conceptions and the concept of narrative time of Paul Ricoeur are the basis of this research, tracing a path that unveils the hermeneutics of the fictional text.pt_BR
