One of these updates concerns the teaching of IoT (programming and electronic components). Due to its design features, teaching this subject from a traditional perspective (tests and theoretical exercises lists) may not be the best way. This paper presents the experience report of the use of the PBL methodology in the teaching-learning process of a course that deals with IoT in an Information Systems undergraduate course in a Brazilian university. All steps and adaptation of the methodology have been described so that it can be replicated.
