This research served as the basis for the production of the video documentary ‘‘Shapes’’, a study that presents the vision of skateboarders on the influence of the sport and its subculture on the creation of patterns and aesthetics within streetwear fashion. The video documentary was developed from a study of poetic language in audiovisual, through recordings made with the skaters themselves, mixing interviews with fashion experts and their views on this panorama of brands and the history of Brazilian street fashion. Seeking to deepen the product, field research was carried out on the main street tracks in São Paulo – such as Vale do Anhagabaú, Parque Ibirapuera and tracks in the Sumaré region – in addition to readings and studies based on filmography. In the report it is possible to understand the history of fashion and skateboarding in a general context, forming an important basis for an audiovisual project inspired, mostly, by other skateboarding videos such as ''Veredas'' by Guilherme Guimarães and amateur short films. carried out by the skateboard and fashion scene. In this way, this video documentary was made and briefly addressed the influence of skateboarding and its street aesthetics on fashion.
