dc.description.abstractNo mundo moderno, a violência psicológica, um dos tipos de violência mais escondidos e maliciosos, tem ganhado cada vez mais atenção. O termo refere-se a um padrão de comportamento que visa manipular, humilhar, controlar ou ameaçar alguém. Isso pode ocorrer em vários contextos, como relacionamentos amorosos, lugar de trabalho e até mesmo no mundo virtual. Devido à natureza não física da violência psicológica e à falta de conhecimento sobre seus efeitos de longo prazo, a violência psicológica é frequentemente subestimada e subnotificada nos dias de hoje. A saúde emocional e mental das vítimas é afetada, bem como sua autoestima, confiança e capacidade de tomar decisões de forma independente. A violência psicológica encontrou novas formas de se perpetuar com o avanço da tecnologia, como assédio virtual, ataques online e cyberbullying, o que contribui para a disseminação rápida e ampla de comportamentos abusivos. Com o avanço da tecnologia, a violência psicológica encontrou novas formas de se propagar, como o assédio virtual e o cyberbullying, o que exacerbou seus efeitos perniciosos. dc.description.abstractIn the modern world, psychological violence, one of the most covert and malicious forms of violence, has been increasingly receiving attention. The term refers to a pattern of behavior aimed at manipulating, humiliating, controlling, or threatening someone. This can occur in various contexts, such as romantic relationships, the workplace, and even in the virtual world. Due to the non-physical nature of psychological violence and the lack of knowledge about its long-term effects, psychological violence is often underestimated and underreported today. The emotional and mental health of the victims is affected, as well as their self-esteem, confidence, and ability to make independent decisions. Psychological violence has found new ways to perpetuate itself with the advancement of technology, such as virtual harassment, online attacks, and cyberbullying, which contribute to the rapid and widespread dissemination of abusive behaviors. With the advancement of technology, psychological violence has found new ways to propagate, such as virtual harassment and cyberbullying, which have exacerbated its pernicious effects. Therefore, it is essential to understand the causes and consequences of psychological violence.
