dc.description.abstractO presente trabalho de conclusão de curso tem por objeto uma análise do papel dos militares no Estado Democrático de Direito à luz do artigo 142 da Constituição Federal de 1988. No período recente, desde 2019 até 2022, momento presente, houve o maior crescimento no período democrático da participação dos militares ocupando cargos e funções civis no governo federal, diversas declarações por parte do governo em relação ao papel das Forças Armadas e embates entre poderes constitucionais e instituições. Neste sentido, o artigo busca compreender qual o papel constitucional dos militares e como este papel opera no Brasil atual.pt_BR
dc.description.abstractThe present bachelor's thesis seeks to analyze the military role in the democratic state under the rule of law, considering the 142th article of the Brazilian Federal Constitution of 1988. In recent times, from 2019 until 2022, the most expressive growth in the number of military taking positions and roles in the federal government took place. This was also the period of time when there were more frequent government statements regarding the rule of the Army and there also were more clashes between the Constitutional Powers and the institutions. Therefore, this article aims to perceive what is the constitutional role of the military and how it functions in Brazil nowadays.pt_BR
