dc.description.abstractO presente artigo analisa os conceitos de dano estético, cirurgia plástica reparadora e responsabilidade civil por erro médico. O objetivo foi estabelecer uma relação entre os temas e descobrir as consequências do dano estético. Para tanto foi feita uma pesquisa bibliográfica de doutrinas, artigos científicos e jurisprudência sobre o tema. Constatou-se que uma questão se mostrou pertinente em quase todos os materiais utilizados, a confusão entre os conceitos de dano moral e dano estético e a cumulação de indenização de ambos os danos. Por fim, concluiu-se que há de fato uma distinção de conceitos, mas que ainda se faz necessária maiores estudos para aprofundar o tema.pt_BR
dc.description.abstractThis article analyzes the notions of aesthetic damage, restorative plastic surgery and civil liability based on medical error. The objective was to stablish a connection between these themes and find out what are the consequences of the aesthetic damage. To this end a bibliographical research was made among books, scientific articles and jurisprudence related to the main theme. During the study a question appeared in almost all the material used and was the mixed concepts of aesthetic damage and moral damage and the indemnity cumulation of both types of damage. At the end was concluded that there is indeed a distinction of concepts, but more studies are needed to develop the knowledge of the theme.pt_BR
