A pauta do
This piece is intended for a documentary based on journalism techniques. The product was born from reports of dancers from the São Paulo Dance Company about the prejudice, still existing, behind the male figure in ballet. The documentary agenda appeared from the uncomfortable meaning of the author, in which for more than nine years of ballet never taught with boys, the room was always composed only of girls. Despite this reality, the beginning of ballet in the Italian courts was practiced only by men and women could not dance because it was poorly seen by the church. Over the years, women began to gain space and men to leave the scene. With this change, society began to see ballet as a female dance and at the same time plastering the role of the male figure in dance, questioning their sexuality. The production process involved the study of the historical part of ballet and current days. There was a reading about cultural journalism and its social importance of bringing information and for the production of the documentary were analyzed the books of Bill Nichols, Patricio Guzmán and Luiz Carlos Lucena. The final product, of poetic-performance language, sought to bring out the intrinsic prejudice in society, being able to deconstruct and highlight the importance of art in society. Finally, this work provided personal and professional growth, critical look at the world and improved journalistic skills.
