Introduction: Rhinoplasty is a surgical procedure widely performed in otorhinolaryngology, being the second most performed plastic surgery in Brazil. The high prevalence of this procedure is due to a combination of cultural, social and psychological factors. The evaluation of rhinoplasty results must take into account not only the physical changes in nasal appearance, but also the patient's satisfaction with these changes, aesthetically and functionally. Objective: The objective of this study is to evaluate the postoperative satisfaction level of patients undergoing rhinoplasty at a tertiary medical teaching and training service. Methods: This was an observational, cross-sectional, retrospective, and qualitative study that analyzed clinical and epidemiological data from medical records of patients attending the otolaryngology outpatient clinic of a tertiary medical service. The Rhinoplasty Outcome Evaluation (ROE) questionnaire was administered in person, in which scores below 50 indicate unsatisfactory results, according to the patient. Results: A total of 40 patients were included in the study, with 65% being women, 40% underwent the procedure with the use of grafts and 100% of the interviewed patients underwent rhinoplasty via the open approach. Among the 40 patients, the average ROE score was 83.33. Regarding aesthetic appearance, 85% reported being very or completely satisfied. Additionally, 10% would consider undergoing a new procedure in the future. Concerning functionality, 80% stated that they breathe well through their nose. As for overall satisfaction, 38 (95%) reported being satisfied with the rhinoplasty outcome, according to the ROE. Finally, 2% experienced complications from the procedure. Conclusion: It was found that rhinoplasty performed in the Otolaryngology service showed a high satisfaction rate among patients.
