© 2013, Sociedad Interamericana de Psicologia. All rights reserved.Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is characterized by a persistent pattern of inattention and/or hyperactivity. At school, it can contribute to academic and relationship difficulties. This work aimed to develop a guide for behavioral management of inattention and hyperactivity in the classroom and evaluate its use by a teacher in a class with student with ADHD. The instruments for pre-and post-intervention were: Scale Benczik of ADHD, Behaviors Inventory for Children form for parents (CBCL/6-18) and teachers (TRF/6-18) and a direct observation record of behaviors. The guide was conducted by a teacher for three months and accompanied by a psychologist every two weeks. The results showed a reduction in behaviors characteristic of ADHD that were directly observed and verified by behavioral inventories.
