dc.description.abstractEste artigo tem como propósito explorar a questão da revitimização das mulheres que são vítimas de violência doméstica, ao mesmo tempo em que destaca as origens desse problema no Brasil. Buscou-se contextualizar a história da violência contra a mulher no país dentro do contexto patriarcal, que perpetua um ciclo de violência, inclusive por meio da violência institucional, que submete as vítimas ao machismo e à misoginia mesmo quando procuram ajuda das autoridades para denunciar seus agressores. Assim, o objetivo desta pesquisa foi ressaltar a importância da efetiva aplicação de leis relevantes da legislação brasileira no combate à violência contra a mulher, como a Lei Maria da Penha e a Lei nº 13.503/2017, visto que a situação atual da violência contra as mulheres na sociedade brasileira está profundamente enraizada em questões históricas e na eficácia das leis existentes. Por meio de revisões bibliográficas e legais realizadas neste estudo, pretendeu-se analisar como uma maior capacitação dos profissionais responsáveis pelo apoio às mulheres vítimas de violência, como as equipes das Delegacias Especializadas de Atendimento à Mulher (DEAMs), pode impactar positivamente no combate a esse tipo de violência. Destacou-se o papel fundamental de determinados profissionais, como os assistentes sociais, na busca pelo objetivo de acolher as vítimas e auxiliá-las a seguir adiante em suas vidas, ao mesmo tempo em que são tomadas medidas legais contra o agressor.
dc.description.abstractThis article aims to explore the issue of revictimization of women who are victims of domestic violence, while highlighting the origins of this problem in Brazil. We sought to contextualize the history of violence against women in the country within the patriarchal context, which perpetuates a cycle of violence, including through institutional violence, which subjects victims to machismo and misogyny even when they seek help from authorities to report their crimes. aggressors. Thus, the objective of this research was to highlight the importance of the effective application of relevant laws of Brazilian legislation in combating violence against women, such as the Maria da Penha Law and Law nº 13,503/2017, given that the current situation of violence against women women in Brazilian society is deeply rooted in historical issues and the effectiveness of existing laws. Through bibliographical and legal reviews carried out in this study, the aim was to analyze how greater training of professionals responsible for supporting women victims of violence, such as the teams from the Specialized Women's Assistance Police Stations (DEAMs), can have a positive impact on combating this type of violence. The fundamental role of certain professionals, such as social workers, was highlighted in the pursuit of the objective of welcoming victims and helping them to move forward in their lives, at the same time that legal measures are taken against the aggressor.
