O presente trabalho tem como objetivo estudar as implicações jurídicas e sociais, bem como se devem existir limites jurídicos em um cenário de implementação do método CRISPR em laboratórios de reprodução assistida. Para tanto, a estrutura de raciocínio será indutiva, baseada em pesquisas bibliográficas. Partimos dos conceitos instrumentais, em seguida, a descoberta do método e como este funciona, prós e contras, análise de documentos jurídicos nacionais e internacionais que se apliquem ao tema e, por fim a conclusão dos dados apresentados.
The present paper aims to study the legal and social implications, as well as understand if should exist legal limits in a scenario where the CRISPR method is used to assist reproductive laboratories. Therefore, the structure of this analysis will be inductive, based on bibliographic research. We will start from the instrumental concepts, then the discovery of the method and how it works, pros and cons, analysis of national and international legal documents that apply to the subject and, finally, the conclusion of the present research.
