Technology is an important resource that can be put to good or bad use. Knowing how to use it can often define professional and/or personal success, and that is why it is important that from the beginning of academic training, in schools, technology can be used and taught as a necessary resource for new generations. It is currently perceived that technology is already a culture, it is already part of the routine of a large part of society. Teaching the new generations to benefit from this resource is the role of education and for this it is necessary to adapt the teaching model and train teachers who are not digital natives and do not master technology. In view of this demand, the COVID-19 pandemic accelerates the discussion about this process, in which teachers had to abruptly enter a virtual environment. This work aims to survey the technological legacy of the pandemic period for the teaching class and possibly for teaching, through an online survey carried out with teachers. The research shows how teachers had their skills expanded in this opportunity, absorbing knowledge and practices from the digital world, incorporating them into their teaching practice, especially among those who did not master the virtual environment.
