Inspirados comercialmente e artisticamente por movimentos sociais, muitos produtos midiáticos se apropriam de suas discussões. Dentre os exemplos contemporâneos, o grupo sul-coreano LOONA, criado em 2016 sob a premissa de construir um universo narrativo próprio por meio de seus materiais audiovisuais, emprega perfis de mulheres historicamente considerados subversivos em sua narrativa de teor feminista. Por isso, buscando reconhecer permanências e atualizações, o presente Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso estuda semioticamente a construção da bruxa, tanto nos seus papéis de matrona e aprendiz, como na ligação proposta pela narrativa com a deusa grega Atena. A priori, com base na pesquisa bibliográfica, considerando a estruturação da história em materiais de naturezas diversas, lançados pelos solos e pelas subunidades que integram o LOONA, estudamos seu universo narrativo por meio do modelo transmidiático. Disso, foi possível levantar elementos-chave da segunda subunidade, um trio denominado ODD EYE CIRCLE. Para a análise dos materiais selecionados, optamos pela semiótica peirceana e, em apoio às leituras feitas dos signos levantados, recorremos a um dicionário de símbolos. Paralelamente, utilizamos uma enciclopédia voltada aos conceitos, práticas e símbolos associados à bruxa. Dessa forma, pudemos conferir como a sabedoria divina ganha novos contornos na passagem da Atena virginal para a mulher que almeja viver o amor em sua totalidade. Igualmente, concluímos que a narrativa mescla signos comumente interpretados como inocentes com outros tidos como malignos, em um esforço tanto publicitário, como artístico e crítico. Portanto, enxergamos no ODD EYE CIRCLE a apresentação e representação da rebeldia feminina para emancipação dos diferentes perfis de mulheres presentes na narrativa.
Inspired commercially and artistically by social movements, many media products appropriate from their discussions. Among the contemporary examples, the South Korean group LOONA, created in 2016 under the premise of building its own narrative universe through its audiovisual materials, resort to profiles of women historically considered subversive in its feminist narrative. Therefore, seeking to recognize permanencies and updates, the present Undergraduate Thesis semiotically studies the construction of the witch, both in her roles as matron and apprentice, as well as in the connection proposed by the narrative with the Greek goddess Athena. A priori, based on bibliographic research, considering the structuring of the story in materials of different natures, released by the solos and subunits that integrate LOONA, we studied its narrative universe through the transmedia model. From this, it was possible to raise key elements of the second subunit, a trio called ODD EYE CIRCLE. For the analysis of the selected materials, we opted for Peircean semiotics and, in support of the readings made of the signs gathered, we resorted to a dictionary of symbols. At the same time, we used an encyclopedia focused on the concepts, practices and symbols associated with the witch. In this way, we were able to see how divine wisdom gains new contours in the passage from the virginal Athena to the woman who longs to live love in its totality. Likewise, we conclude that the narrative mixes signs commonly interpreted as innocent with others considered evil, in an effort that is simultaneously advertising, artistic and critical. Therefore, we see in ODD EYE CIRCLE the presentation and representation of female rebellion for the emancipation of the different profiles of women present in the narrative.
