dc.description.abstractThis study discusses the concepts of corporate social responsibility and stakeholder management. Given the goal, was explored as global companies in the food sector engage with the local community through the case study of the food industry in Jaguariúna / SP-Brazil. With this qualitative field research was made possible An exploratory investigation of the problem in a flexible manner, deep and extensive, allowing to understand that the concept needs to be clear and be part of the strategic process of the organization. There was also that the communication process to be effective, transparent and correlated to the other since, as a tool, contributes to the perception and intervention of all.
