profundidade.
This work presents the theoretical research and the activities carried out for the production of a book-report on sexual violence within romantic relationships. The product highlights ten stories on marital rape and its objective is to point out the perceptions about the crime, both of the victims and of those around them. Rape, a crime already frequently silenced, is even more discredited when it happens indoors. The narrative uses the reports of ten women victims of such violence and is divided into eight chapters with common themes among the characters. The sotories show difficulty in identifying violence, conflicting relationships with the family and psychological abuse. To support the research, books, articles and reports on the subject were consulted, among them, the main authors were: Edvaldo Pereira Lima, Cremilda Medina, Eduardo Belo and researchers from the Institute of Applied Economic Research (IPEA). In addition to interviews with a psychologist and a lawyer specializing in intrafamily sexual abuse and the Maria da Penha Law, respectively. These conversations clarified the unfavorable legal situation for these women and the psychological conditions in which they find themselves. The book-report allowed the sources to be portrayed anonymously and their stories to be told deeply.
