dc.description.abstract© 2015 Nova Science Publishers, Inc.This chapter aims to discuss the use of augmented reality (AR) applications to the area of music education and music therapy. Three applications will be presented that have been developed by the authors, tested by experts in music education and children in schooling process (Music-AR), and music therapist and children with Cerebral Palsy in Music Therapy (GenVirtual and MusicandoRA). It is a multidisciplinary research involving different professionals: engineers, computer scientists, musicians, therapists and educators. In addition to the scientific contributions generated in this work, deserves its technological contribution, given that the three applications are available for free use.
