What is the factor that causes the media to influence the thinking of their receivers? And who determines when there is the realization of the supposed hate speech promoted by the media? Is Freedom of Expression used as a mechanism for biasing ideas? These questions arise at a time when society is surrounded by a dangerous wave of intolerance. The media has a constitutional duty to inform, entertain and educate society. However, when one observes these economically concentrated media, and in this section dealing directly with Rede Globo de Televisão and Record TV, the question that is presented and intended to discuss originates from the premise that these two media can propagate hate speech, re-defining their concept and content, because they have in their hands the economic concentration that, in the analysis that will be treated, also includes the factor of "audience ratings". Audience ratings are a factor that can distort the competition because, within a television environment, the media with higher indices have a greater potential for convincing their discourse. This work aims, with the methodological cut of economic concentration in the media, using as a parameter Rede Globo de Televisão and Record Tv, the two broadcasters with the highest ratings, dealing specifically with hate speech against religious minorities, through a Hermeneutic Phenomenological approach, to analyze whether there is a re-signification of speech, through a dress of freedom of expression but that, in fact, promote discourse of hatred, using this market imbalance to achieve these ends.eng
