Tecnoética alimentar e ensino: uma abordagem curricular

| dc.description.abstract | Diante da crescente e permanente urgência econômica em se formar mão de obra tecnicamente qualificada para o mercado de trabalho, questiona-se e discute-se cada vez mais os temas relacionados ao currículo e à pertinência das ciências humanas diante da exigência de uma formação mais especializada. Ao mesmo tempo em que se observa uma tendência de diminuição da presença do ensino de Filosofia, notadamente na formação técnica e profissional, evidencia-se uma velocidade crescente no desenvolvimento e implementação de inovações tecnológicas e o surgimento de novos desafios éticos relacionados a aspectos de saúde pública e socioambientais associados às mesmas. Esta pesquisa tem como objetivo averiguar a extensão do reconhecimento da importância da Ética e da Bioética, frente a estes desafios, na forma de uma Tecnoética Alimentar e sua consequente inserção no currículo escolar das escolas técnicas da área de alimentos, objeto específico deste estudo, de maneira consistente e proporcional às diferentes e complexas implicações tecnoéticas inerentes aos sistemas alimentares. Sob o fio condutor de diferentes teorias Bioéticas, destacando-se o Princípio Responsabilidade de Hans Jonas, de referências direcionadas ao ensino de Bioética e de um levantamento abrangente sobre os principais dilemas éticos inerentes à produção e ao consumo de alimentos, este estudo pretende confrontar estas informações com um exemplo de matriz curricular de escola técnica na área de alimentos, procurando avaliar a inserção destas questões éticas no currículo, abrindo espaço para estudos futuros mais aprofundados sobre o tema. Os resultados demonstram que há oportunidades de uma integração mais explícita e abrangente do ensino da tecnoética no processo formativo dos futuros técnicos de alimentos, que serão continuamente confrontados em sua vida profissional com novos e crescentes desafios tecnoéticos que exigirão uma atuação cada vez mais consciente e responsável em prol da preservação da vida e do bem-estar das gerações atuais e futuras em nosso planeta. | |
| dc.description.abstract | Faced with the growing and permanent economic urgency to train technically qualified labor force for the market, issues related to the curriculum and the relevance of the human sciences are increasingly questioned and discussed in the face of the demand for more specialized education. While there is a tendency of decreasing presence of Philosophy teaching, notably in technical and professional education, there is an increasing speed in the development and implementation of technological innovations and the emergence of new ethical challenges related to public health aspects and social and environmental issues associated with them. This research aims to investigate the extent of recognition of the importance of Ethics and Bioethics in the face of these challenges, managed as Food Tecnhoethics, and their consequent insertion in the school curriculum of technical schools in the food area, the specific object of this study, in a consistent and proportional way to the different and complex techno ethical implications inherent to food systems. Under the guiding thread of different Bioethical theories, highlighting the Responsibility Principle by Hans Jonas, references directed to the teaching of Bioethics and a comprehensive discussion on the main ethical dilemmas inherent to the production and consumption of food, this study intends to confront this information with an example of a curriculum matrix of a technical school in the food area, seeking to evaluate the insertion of these ethical issues in the curriculum, opening space for further studies on the subject. The results demonstrate that there are opportunities for a more explicit and comprehensive integration of technoethics teaching in the educational process of future food technicians who will be continually confronted in their professional lives with new and growing techno ethical challenges that will require an increasingly conscious and responsible action in for the preservation of life and well-being of our planet’s current and future generations.
