| dc.description.abstract | Há muito se pode notar porém há pouco se intensificou a discussão de que a dominação patriarcal, refletida de variadas formas dentro das sociedades, em especial das latino-americanas, só faz aumentar a violência contra a mulher. Nesse contexto, depois de intensa discussão e empurrado pelo clamor de movimentos feministas, a rede de proteção à mulher no âmbito legislativo foi ampliado e ganhou lugar nos Estados latino-americanos. Embora o avanço seja gradual e ainda não suficiente a ponto de diminuir consideravelmente os números alarmantes de feminicídio, agressão e ameaça, o caminho tem sido trilhado e a mudança está encaminhada. Neste trabalho, portanto, abordaremos os novos conceitos de violência tendo por critério a discussão feminista acerca das formas de manifestação do machismo estrutural nesses países, os desdobramentos sociais desses comportamentos e a intensa necessidade de levantar o debate sobre a relação do machismo muito presente na nossa cultura latina com os números alarmantes de violência, que pouco a pouco têm ganhado espaço no legislativo dos Estados. | pt_BR |
| dc.description.abstract | It has long been noted, but the discussion has recently intensified that patriarchal domination, reflected in various ways within societies, especially Latin American societies, only increases violence against women. In this context, after intense discussion and pushed by the clamor of feminist movements, the protection of women in the legislative sphere was expanded and gained place in the Latin American states. While the progress is gradual and not yet sufficient to significantly reduce the alarming numbers of femicide, aggression and threat, the road has been trodden and change is underway. In this paper, therefore, we will approach the new concepts of violence based on the feminist discussion about the forms of manifestation of structural machismo in these countries, the social consequences of these behaviors and the intense need to raise the debate about the relation of machismo very present in our country.
