| dc.description.abstract | A presente dissertação de Mestrado, possui como cerne de sua discussão o entendimento das sociedades escandinavas durante a Era Viking, mediante sua análise sociocultural. Nesta, inúmeros aspectos serão compreendidos, desde aqueles introdutórios, como a localização destas comunidades, o período de tempo o qual a pesquisa englobará, momentos antecedentes que levaram a construção das mesmas, até aspectos mais profundos. Dentre estes, as análises serão realizadas visando-se três grandes grupos, sendo aspectos de organização social e política, onde questões relativas à estrutura das comunidades, como o regime de governo, papéis de gênero nestas e atividades econômicas serão esmiuçadas. A segunda categoria seria a cultural, ou seja, os usos e costumes destas sociedades, a vida intelectual da mesma, englobando desde as produções literárias às artísticas artesanais. E por fim, dissertar-se-á sobre os quesitos religiosos, adentrando-se em qual seria a religião predominante, sua gênese, os modos de culto, e até mesmo as múltiplas crenças presentes em determinados períodos da Era Viking. | |

| local.description.abstracten | The present Masters Degree dissertation, have in it’s center of discussion, the understanding of the Scandinavian societies during the Viking Age, through a sociocultural analysis. In this, many aspects will be comprehended, since those introductory, such as the localization of those comunities, the time period wich the research will encompass, preceding moments that led to the construction of the former, and some deeper aspects. Among those, the analysis will focus in three major groups, being the aspects of social and political organization, where matters relative to the structure of the comunities, like the government regime, gender roles and economic activities will be studied in detail. The second category will be the cultural one, this being, the consuetude os this societies, their intelectual life, ranging from literary prduction to the handmade artistical ones. And to conclude, the religious aspects will be discoursed, going through wich would be the predominent religion, its origin, ways of cult, and even the multiple beliefs during the period os the Viking Age. | |
