Introduction: the sitting position is considered one of the major factors in complaints of pain and discomfort, mostly in the lower back. Furthermore, in a population with activities in a sitting posture, two factors are aggravating: the prolonged time in this position and the reduction in lordosis. This change in the lumbar curvature directly affects the other vertebral curvatures, demanding more from the muscles, leading to fatigue, muscle tension and pain in different areas of the body, interfering with the worker's productivity and quality of life. Objective: the study focuses on the analysis of the Health Chair® equipment, with the aim of establishing an association between the product design, the proposed function and the users' perception. Method: This is a longitudinal observational study, with a convenience sample, with the participation of 8 individuals, aged between 18 and 50 years. In which a satisfaction questionnaire was applied, in two moments, after participants used the Health Chair® for 5 consecutive days for 4 hours. Result: Of the participants, 71% reported better postural alignment and ease in maintaining correct posture. Although 57% indicated little improvement in overall health, none reported discomfort. The adaptation to the ergonomic chair was successful for the majority (57%), but there were differences in the perception of the quality of the material. The interference with productivity was minimal (29%). The equipment recommendation was expressed by 71% of participants, with specific suggestions for improvement, including removing the base. Conclusion: The study highlights the benefits of the Health Chair® for maintaining sitting posture, providing insights for future adjustments, however, due to the sample size, further studies are still necessary to generalize the results.
