O autismo ou espectro autista é um conjunto de características que alteram o desenvolvimento cognitivo e o comportamento deste indivíduo na sociedade. O espectro autista engloba o transtorno de Asperger, que terá um foco maior de abordagem neste trabalho. Os indivíduos que apresentam Síndrome de Asperger podem observar alguns obstáculos em seus afazeres diários, entre eles, dificuldades na inclusão social no âmbito escolar. Em função de características comuns da síndrome, o estudante pode apresentar um rendimento limitado, deste modo, algumas políticas foram criadas para auxiliar em sua inclusão escolar e na sociedade como um todo. O vigente trabalho toma como análise da produção cinematográfica Temple Grandin, o filme, que aborda a história, baseada em fatos verídicos, de uma jovem com a síndrome que passa por algumas dificuldades de inclusão no âmbito educacional, porém com o auxílio necessário consegue superar suas dificuldades, se formar na Universidade e defender seu trabalho de Mestrado e Doutorado. Este trabalho teve como objetivo central estudar e avaliar o potencial do filme para mobilização de discussões sobre a inclusão de pessoas com Síndrome de Asperger. Os objetivos específicos foram identificar representações sobre o autismo e obstáculos de inclusão, relacionando-os ao filme e interpretando tais situações transpostas ao atual quadro das discussões filosóficas e legais sobre a educação inclusiva. Para realizar a análise do filme foram selecionadas categorias a partir da literatura sobre a Síndrome de Asperger e, dentro destas categorias, foram separadas cenas do filme que se relacionam com o assunto estudado. Por fim, a partir dos resultados encontrados pode-se observar que os indivíduos com Síndrome de Asperger apresentam algumas peculiaridades em seu comportamento e encaram a realidade de uma forma diferente em comparação com outros indivíduos, características que acabam sendo as mais exploradas na produção cinematográfica, porém, o filme ainda possibilita a identificação de caminhos para a inclusão de pessoas com Síndrome de Asperger.
Autism or Autism Spectrum is a set of characteristics that alter the cognitive development and behavior of bearers in society. The autistic spectrum is the Asperger's disorder, which will have a greater focus of approach in this work. Individuals with Asperger's Syndrome may observe some obstacles in their daily tasks, including difficulties in social inclusion in the school environment. Due to common characteristics of the syndrome, the student may present some limitations, so some policies have been created to assist them in their inclusion in school and in society as a whole. The current work takes as an analysis the cinematographic production Temple Grandin, the film, which approaches the story of a girl with Asperger’s disorder, based on truthful facts. The story talk about a young woman with the syndrome who goes through some difficulties of inclusion in the educational scope, but with the necessary help she can overcome her difficulties, graduating from the University and defending his master's and doctoral work. This work aims to study and evaluate the potential of the film to mobilize discussions about the inclusion of people with Asperger Syndrome. The specific objectives are to identify representations about autism and obstacles to inclusion, relating them to the film and interpreting such situations transposed into the current framework of philosophical and legal discussions on inclusive education. In order to carry out the analysis of the film, categories were selected from literature on Asperger's Syndrome and, within these categories, were separated scenes of the film that relate to the subject studied. Finally, from the results found, it can be observed that the individuals with Asperger's Syndrome present some peculiarities in their behavior and face reality in a different way compared to other individuals, characteristics that end up being the most explored in film production, however, the film still allows the identification of ways to include people with Asperger Syndrome.
