Abstract
We filled the hollow core of photonic crystal fibers with CdSe nanocrystals in oil for application as temperature sensors. A 65pm/°C spectral shift was obtained. The high light-CdSe overlap resulted in relatively high luminescence powers. © 2010 SPIE.
