dc.description.abstractThis article aims to analyse a material about school, published in a nonspecialized weekly revue, with national circulation in Brazil. After a description presented by the article with informative data, an analysis has been done taking in account the submission of the media to the dominant ideology. Based on the production of the established relationship in the school environment and considering as back - cloth the inequalty and barbarism present in the school, the discussion aims to point out the nature of the conceptions present in the speech of journalists, educators, students and professionals of Psychology.
