To investigate the influence of the circadian rhythm in motor coordination in boys with 11 and 12 years old comparing the performance of young soccer players, healthy students, and children with Down Syndrome (DS). Method. To sort the chronotype of each individual, a validated questionnaire to determine the characteristics of the individual through structured questions was applied. To evaluate and rate the skills of body coordination, test of motor coordination for children (KTK) was used. Results. The data showed that the chronotype in the three studied groups was in according to the literature review, most of the morning intermediate characteristics; results in the motor tests were similar in the groups of young soccer players and healthy students and had low rates of motor responses in children with DS. Conclusions. In the KTK test were not observed differences in the performance of soccer players when compared to students without training and that the circadian rhythm interfered little in the performance of motor coordination for the three groups.
