dc.description.abstract© Optica Publishing Group 2022 The Authors.This work shows an adaptive PAM-4/PAM-8 modulator using graphene capacitive segments over a silicon waveguide capable of management between a higher transmission rate (672 Gb/s for PAM-8) or low energy consumption (0.115 pJ/bit for PAM-4).
