Resumo
MAPS of Carina Nebula, obtained at relatively low frequencies, have shown that most of the radiation arises from a central region and has a simple double structure, separated by about 9.4′. Gardner et al.1 studied Carina Nebula at 5 GHz, the highest frequency so far used, with the Parkes radio telescope and observed a beamwidth of 4′. © 1974 Nature Publishing Group.
