dc.description.abstractA new antifungal piperidone derivative 3α,4α-epoxy-2- piperidone, whose structure was determined by spectroscopic methods, was isolated from the MeOH extract from leaves of Piper crassinervium. This is the first occurrence of one amide in P. crassinervium.
