dc.description.abstract© 2022, Centro Universitario Curitiba - UNICURITIBA. All rights reserved.Objective: the text is developed with the objective of reconstructing the arguments that were part of the historical debate that took place between Hans Kelsen x Eugen Ehrlich, from which legal dogmatics and sociology of law emerged with their epistemological bases strengthened. Methodology: the methodology used has a bibliographic character and was primarily based on direct sources and the method applied was precisely dedicated to a comparison of the assumptions presented by the two authors in question. Furthermore, the indirect sources were used secondarily as a way of confirming the interpretation of the analyzed writings. Results and Contributions: this work results in the demarcation of the theoretical field of the sociology of jurists' law as a factor that justifies the contribution of the present research due to a theoretical gap, in addition to the didactic appeal of such a comparison to reinforce its justification.
