dc.description.abstract© OSA 2016.We propose a method to simultaneously measure the two-photon absorption (TPA) coefficient and free-carrier lifetime in silicon waveguides using long pulses, revealing a 1.44-ns lifetime and a 0.77-cm/GW TPA coefficient for a fully-etched waveguide.
