Resumo
This paper deals with a logistic operation in a urban enviroment. The aim of the research is to solve a routing problem in a network considering that traffic congestion has a significant impact in the route decision. The proposal model has to define the "best" route to serve a given number of points. Information about traffic congestion in the network is available over the time, and the model should take this information into consideration to define its routes. An application based on the metaheuristic tabu search has been developed to solve the routing problem. The traffic congestion data were provided by an application hosted in a cloud computing service which captured the level of congestion from a traffic management center site. The results showed that the approach worked satisfactorily and the impact of congestion was significant. The details of the proposal and all the interesting results obtained are discussed in the paper.
