Resumo
The purpose of this study is to analyze an adaptive filter as a device to be used in selecting relevant criteria to the decisionmaking process. The motivation of this study is in pattern recognition, in which one can obtain a set of criteria within a dynamic process that can vary the problem under study. There are several assistive devices to the decision making, such as decision tables and decision trees. Adaptive is a term to denote the ability of a device to modify their own behavior autonomously and dynamically based on criteria, rules and alternatives. The sections of this article are organized as follows: approach the conceptual basis of the study, proposal of the adaptive filter applied to the selection criteria and the final considerations.
