dc.description.abstractThis paper presents a study about output bandwidth maximization in Erbium-doped fiber lasers, by using thin films incorporating Carbon Nanotubes (CNT) with diameters of 0.8 and 1.0 nm, with several films transmittance values and different total cavity dispersion. Best result was achieved with 1.0 nm CNT generating a maximum bandwidth of 5.7 nm when films transmittance is 37%. © 2010 Optical Society of America.
