All rights reserved.The aim of this study was to analyze written text as a teaching resource used to teach Physical Education and understand perceptions and practices constructed by teachers using that resource in their classes. We interviewed 21 teachers who believe in the relevance of this intervention, select diverse texts related to current Physical Education topics, building a consistent pedagogical process with what literature suggests on the topic. Therefore, we see that they care about the contribution of Physical Education for readers’ construction, without neglecting the specific knowledge of the area.
