dc.description.abstract© 2017 IEEE.The use of serious games as a mediator to the learning process has risen a lot over the last few years. This article goes beyond, by using the act of building a serious game as a learning construct. It introduces an educational game that helps the user to learn about art, history and architecture. This game was developed using the Challenge Based Learning method (CBL), which has been applied in elementary school in several places around the world, but it is still novel in the college environment. The development process and the game are presented in detail in many learnings that have risen from this process are described.
