The decision of making process in today's business environment can be very complex, due to the many variables and limiting factors (such as time, budget and human resources) that have to be considered in order to achieve the goals that were stipulated by the company's strategic planning. Because of these limiting factors and the presence of many different projects, companies hanker for clear and objective criteria to prioritize their efforts (HAAS; MEIXNER, 2005). The multicriteria method could be a solution, as it manages to turn the big decisions into a quantitative matter. This study's objective is to select and prioritize, through the application of the multicriteria method, the projects that are most aligned with the organization's strategic planning. The article consists of a case study that plans to transform the decision-making process of a junior company, taking the OKR (Objective and Key Results) into consideration. The chosen method to perform this study was the AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process), that combines the opinion of the decision makers (board of directors) with COPRAS (Complex Proportional Assessment), which means that both qualitative and quantitative measures were taken in consideration. At the end of the study, it was possible to develop a model that will work as a support tool for all of the future decision making process for the junior company, and also as a benchmarking tool for other companies, including bigger ones.
