dc.description.abstract396 fs pulses with adjustable repetition rate from 2.5 GHz to 12 GHz were directly generated by an asynchronous modelocked Er-fiber laser in conjunction with intracavity solitonic effect in a hybrid regime. © 2007 Optical Society of America.
