We share our Protocol used by diverse scholars in different global contexts; offer potentialities for applying the Protocol in a variety of settings; and propose possible implications and questions for transformative learning theory. Our research addresses a specific gap in the literature to understand the experience of listening through story that creates a third space for transformation in dyads. The Protocol evokes and supports transformation at multiple levels: connect with another, understand another, and/or learn more deeply about oneself—for individual, collective, community, and societal change (Stevens-Long et al. in Adult Education Quarterly 62(2): 180–198).
